Hi there, I’m Rubi! and as my pals always say I’m Super Positive, Goofy and have some really Big and Unusual Dreams.
In the serene hills of Nainital(India), my self-discovery journey began. Growing up felt like a fairy tale, full of adventures. In this blog, I’ll walk you through the pages of my life, from a girls’ school’s corridors to a blossoming spirit, and how these moments gracefully shaped me into the storyteller I am today.
Chapter 1: From Convent to Coeducation
I spent my early years in a girls’ school, a place that combined learning with feminism. I explored Shakespeare and Nietzsche, immersed myself in the wisdom of Tagore, Chanakya, and Kabirdas, and ventured into the world of science and space. These years fueled my curiosity and pushed boundaries.
A pivotal moment arrived when I joined a christian boys’ school, where I was one of the first three girls in a crowd of 1100 boys. This unique experience boosted my confidence and broadened my perspective, teaching me to see the world from both male and female viewpoints, a skill I’d find invaluable in my future.
Chapter 2: Engineering and Beyond
With a Civil Engineering degree in hand, I started my career, taking on multiple roles. I worked as a civil engineer, tried my hand at hotel management, and even ventured into marketing to promote our housing projects. Alongside these experiences, I mentored and tutored others. Later, I shifted into operations, where I helped companies enhance their strategies and processes.
Beyond this, I’m an active writer on Medium and LinkedIn. I’ve also honed my skills in ghostwriting for individuals and brands. These experiences have enriched my understanding of diverse stories from various walks of life, stoking the flames of my writing passion.
Chapter 3: Inside my Mind
When I’m not indulging in deep contemplation about life’s mysteries, I find solace and inspiration in my diverse set of hobbies.
Anime Buff
At the top of my list is my deep affection for Anime, and “Naruto” and “Black Clover” occupies a special place in my heart. This captivating world of limitless imagination has taught me to transcend the boundaries of reality, infusing my writing with a distinctive touch of creativity. It’s a source of inspiration that consistently finds its way into my narratives, adding depth and an element of the extraordinary to the stories I craft.
My Passion for Psychology and Sci-Fi
I’m deeply passionate about cognitive psychology, the study of how our minds work, which influences my writing. I also explore topics like consciousness, the origins of the universe, the enigmatic mind, and the mysteries of time. These subjects enrich my storytelling, making it engaging and thought-provoking.
I’m equally passionate about science fiction, a genre that blends technology, human nature, and the mysteries of the cosmos, inspiring my narratives with futuristic wonder. These twin passions infuse my writing with human insights and imaginative possibilities, crafting stories that engage the mind and transport it to uncharted universes.
A Certified Homebody
I wholeheartedly embrace my identity as a devoted homebody, finding solace in the quiet of indoor spaces with a warm cup of tea. From this cozy spot, I watch the world and its many stories, captivated by the people, places, and their intriguing narratives. My curious mind acts as a canvas where I paint my thoughts, crafting a continually evolving masterpiece.
Chapter 4: Faith and Philosophy
My life’s philosophy can be summed up as: ’I think, therefore I am.’ This famous idea, often associated with René Descartes, emphasizes the significance of thought in defining our existence. It’s a daily reminder of the beauty of thought and how it connects us to the world.
My faith extends beyond human thought to encompass the power of God and consciousness. To me, these beliefs aren’t conflicting; they complement each other. Thinking itself is a testament to the consciousness that unites all living beings, which is how I find solace in the idea of a higher power guiding and connecting us.
Chapter 5: Relationships and Inspiration
My journey of curiosity and learning is strongly shaped by my beloved mother, sister, and husband. They continually inspire me with their wealth of knowledge across various subjects.
I’ve also gained invaluable insights about this world from my late father, who may be in heaven now but continues to guide me in my dreams.

As I’ve walked along my path, I’ve found the elements that bind my life together.
My love for storytelling isn’t just something I do for fun; it’s a way for me to share the beauty and wisdom I’ve gathered on my journey.
